In WIT the National Service Scheme Unit was established in 1998-99, since  its  inception various social activities were successfully carried out under its banner. In the current academic year 100 members registered including 19 girl students. Prof. D. J. Doshi is entrusted with the responsibility of NSS In-charge.

         During this academic year 2010-11 blood donation camp was arranged for three times and in all 1176 students donated blood.
