Electronics Engineering Department

The Electronics Department was established in 1983. Since then the department is running a U.G. course of Electronics Engineering.  Department has started a PG course in Electronics Engg. from 2009-10. Research laboratory under the Department is recognized for Doctoral Research.

Electronics Engg. program is designed to systematically nurture students in six streams - Foundation of Electronics, Digital Electronics, Telecommunication, Power Electronics, Computer Engg & Project Development skills. The perspective is to develop an Electronics graduate so that he can seek a job in Electronics hardware industry, Software industry, Power and Industrial Electronics. He can also persue higher studies or go to research.

Electronics Engg. Program includes subject like Linear circuits, Integrated circuits, Circuit design, Embeded Systems, Industrial and Power Electronics, Computer Hardware & Software, Video Engg., Analog & digital Communication, DSP etc.

Electronics Department is equipped with the laboratories which are continuously updated. Electronics workshop with facilities for PCB manufacturing is an unique feature of this department. Students are encouraged to participate in the model making and project work through technical exhibits. The practice oriented components is brought in by seminars, project works, industrial visit and technical paper presentation on state of the art technologies. ACTEL laboratory, a joint venture with VLSI leaders is a testimony of the department's strong bond with industry.
