1)Prof. S.R. Gengaje completed Ph.D. in Electronics Engineer-ing from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. His topic of research is –

“Some investigations for generalization with multilayer feedforward artificial neural network with application to distor-tion invariant handwritten numeral recognition.” He has published number of Research papers in National & International Confer-ences / Journals. He was guided by Prof. A.R Yardi. 

2)Prof. S.R. Gengaje is appointed as a Chairman of Ad hoc Board of Studies in      Electronics  Engineering for Solapur University, Solapur. Prof A.S. Gundale & Prof. B.D. Shejal are appointed as members of this board.

3)Prof. Dr . S.K. Dixit is appointed as a member of  Ad hoc Board

of Studies in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering for Solapur University, Solapur. Prof. M.R. Madki ia appointed as a member of this board.

4) Prof. S.R. Gengaje presented a paper entitled “Generalization in ANN – Empirical Study with Handwritten Numeral  Recogni-tion” in International Conference on Multidisciplinary Aspects of Engineering , Pune .

5) Prof. S.R. Gengaje presented a paper entitled “Proper Weight Initialisation Improves Generalization in ANN” at National Con-ference on Advances in Electronics & Telecommunication Engi-neering , Osmanabad.

6)Prof. A.S. Gundale presented a paper- “Buffer Management for TCP/IP over VBR in LAN at National Conference on Recent Trends in Computer & Communication Networking at Yawatmal

7) Prof. A.S. Gundale presented a paper titled “ Performance of TCP/ATM with dependent VBR traffic over Satellite Networks” at National Conference on Broadband Networks” at Chennai. 

8)Prof. Ms. R.D. Sambharam presented a p aper entitled “Analy-sis & Application of Heart Rate Variability” at International Con-ference on Systems, Cybernetics & Informatics at Hyderabad.
