Mechanical Engineering Department

This department was established in July 1989.The department has fourteen different labs.

The man power of the department is 20 including professors, assistant professors and lab assistants.Most of staff is post graduated from reputed institutes like I.I.T and I.I.Sc.

1. Refrigeration and Air condition lab A/C Test Rig & Mini Ice Plant developed under projects by the final year students. 2. Steam power engg. lab is well equipped with mini steam boiler having capacity 300 kg/hr 3. Wind Tunnel open subsonic type is available for Ind Testing & Aerodynamic studies.

Most of students are absorbed by companies like Tata Engineering, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Kirloskar Oil Engines, Mahindra British Telecom, Walchandnagar Industries, MICO Ltd., LARSEN & TOUBRO LTD, etc.
